"Not my own story, but rather God's story"

“My story for camp it’s not my own story but rather the story God wrote for me. I was terrified upon arriving at my first summer of camp. Terrified to be in the state so far from Wisconsin, terrified to be surrounded by people I didn’t know, terrifying unfamiliar surroundings. However, the people there, after a few weeks, were not so terrifying. The surroundings became some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. And I experienced great joy in counseling and working at the camp! God took one of most terrifying experiences and turned it into one of the best of my life. The genuine Christ-like love the people there have was amazing. The energy and comradery between all the staff was like being in a second family. If this is how His story for me started, I can’t wait to see what He has next!”
