All of our specialty camps, afternoons and evenings are still dedicated to the long-established CCM camp experience, including Lifestory (bible study), camp games, lake activities, great meals, and campfire worship. Specialty Camps are the perfect camps to attend if your camper wants to focus on enhancing their specialty while still getting to enjoy the CCM camp experience!


 

Art Camp

Offered Both Weeks

For youth entering 4th-9th grade.

Unleash your creative spirit and experience God through your artistic talents! Campers will work hands-on every morning, making a variety of different projects that they can take home with them!

Creative Writing Camp

Only June 22 - 27

For youth entering 4th-9th grade.

Join us this summer for our 3rd annual Creative Writing Camp! The campers will be led every morning to expand their creative writing skills. Campers will create characters, write, and publish their stories to take home at the end of the week.

Fishing Camp

Offered Both Weeks

For youth entering 4th-9th grade.

Get "hooked" on camp through Fishing Camp! Lake Sakakawea is world-famous for great fishing, especially for Walleye. Campers will be led by talented and experienced local anglers and spend their mornings learning about the nitty-gritty about fishing. Don't worry; they will spend plenty of time as well fishing, both shore fishing and boat fishing! Fishing supplies and PFDs (life jackets) will be provided by CCM or you are welcome to bring your own!

Guitar & Ukulele Camp

Guitar Offered Both Weeks

Ukulele Only Offered June 22 - 27

FOR YOUTH ENTERING 4TH-9TH GRADE.

Hang with Pastor Hans Peterson of "Dakota Road" (June Session) and learn to play or improve your guitar or Ukulele skills! Pastor Hans has led Guitar Camp for over 10 years; days will be spent learning fundamental skills or strengthening existing skills. Campers will even be able to put their newfound skills to the test by performing a mini concert together later in the week. Please bring your own guitar!

Trekkers Camp

Only Offered August 3 - 8

For Youth Entering 8th-12th Grade.

Come join us and experience the great outdoors! Pitch a tent and spend the night under the starry sky. Spend time learning outdoors skills. Cook meals over a fire. Practice canoeing skills on Lake Sakakawea. And more! Tents and gear provided by CCM.

Whittling Camp

Offered Both Weeks

FOR YOUTH ENTERING 4TH-9TH GRADE. 

Join us to learn the classic hobby of woodcarving!  Campers will learn the art of woodcarving and whittling with experienced whittler, Pastor Michon Weingartner. CCM will provide the wood and carving knives.
